High Lane is a large mainly grassed area bounded by the Macclesfield Canal to the south and Windlehurst Road to the North with the A6 on the western boundary behind the houses and the allotments. There is a good sized car park at the Community Centre which is between the park and the allotments.
In the corner near the canal and the A6 there is a children’s play
area and a skatepark as well as a few pieces of equipment for older
children outside the railed area. Just inside the main access point
from the A6 there is an attractive seating area surrounded by flower
beds.
