The Tame Valley
Defence Group has been watching the Vale since the Save the Vale
campaign. We will never stop opposing inappropriate development.
Since Reddish Vale Country Park came into being after the demise of
the Industrial Estate, we have worked hard at improving the status
of Reddish Vale Country Park and we are now supporting every effort
to gain Green Flag status.
We feel that this is long overdue. Reddish was highly industrialised
in the past and the river was badly polluted. Many Reddish people
feel that Reddish has been neglected by the authorities and Reddish
Vale has been likewise neglected. |
